Here are some websites, Facebook groups, brochures, and other organizations you may want to look at for support or to share with your therapist, family, or significant others who may need to be educated about parental alienation, hostile-aggressive or pathogenic parenting. Please keep in mind that these resources are not substitutes for mental health appointments or legal advice.
Need a quick rundown on parental alienation?
There's a TEDTalk for that!
Parental Alienation Speaks blog - Cheryl Mefferd's advocacy and awareness organization based in Hollister, MO

Cheryl attends many conferences in hopes of educating counselors, law enforcement, and family court officials and advocates on how to recognize parental alienation. Cheryl works tirelessly on the behalf of all alienated and targeted parents.
Wendy Archer Perry consults with professionals and coaches alienated/targeted parents after enduring what was called Tarrant County's "worst known case of parental alienation" also featured in the critically acclaimed documentary, Divorce Corp. Wendy began running support groups in 2011 in North Texas. Wendy also began to circulate attention around the Bubbles of Love movement on April 25, which aims to proclaim a day of awareness of parental alienation. Wendy has also put on many conferences in the state of Texas and hosts many professionals who research parental alienation.
Divorce Poison is considered the "bible" of literature that defines and discusses parental alienation. Dr. Richard Warshak's book is an excellent resource recommended for all target/alienated parents to read.

There are many resources in the UK and in Australia as well as Canada, as this trend is prevalent throughout the world. One resource which features well-known bloggers from those other countries is iWasErased.com which provides support and resources for those affected by parental alienation. You can find internet radio shows that feature discussions on parental alienation.
Ginger Gentile and her supporters have produced a documentary called Erasing Family that hopefully will be previewed here should we get the resources. Getting people's personal stories circulated will hopefully bring awareness to parental alienation.
One of the prominent voices in Europe supporting alienated/targeted parents is Karen Woodall. Together with her husband, she runs a clinic aiming to help reunite families. She writes especially supportive messages for targeted parents on her blog.
Another expert who runs reunification programs is Linda Gottlieb. There is some mention of a training happening in St. Robert, MO, which we will keep our eye on.
Dr. William Bernet from Vanderbilt University runs a study group comprised of many therapeutic and legal professionals who contribute to the body of research surrounding parental alienation. This group also hosts an annual conference designed to share this research. Many of the professionals that are not individually mentioned here, and their publications, are featured on this website.

For those who now have alienated children who have aged out or are adults, Dr. Amy J. Baker's literature might be of interest to you. Dr. Joshua Coleman's book When Parents Hurt is a valuable resource when alienation has crossed into estrangement. Mothers, especially, may be interested in Sheri McGregor's Done With the Crying.
Another cutting edge psychiatrist who is fashioning his research around early family systems therapy findings from the 1970s is Dr. Craig Childress who is rebranding parental alienation as cross generational family dysfunction and calling it pathogenic parenting. You may want to download his brochure, which is very helpful when combating the ABA's position on parental alienation being junk science, thanks to Dr. Richard Gardner, who tarnished the theory.
Parental Alienation and Hostile Parenting Awareness produces a brochure that is very helpful - you may want to download it as well. Sometimes, it is difficult to verbalize our stories, and at times, you may feel that you need to explain that you are not the only one enduring this.
Another comprehensive website that provides some of the same resources here as well as journals and research surrounding parental alienation is Parental Alienation Support. Another website that began as a support group similar to PAASTL is Beyond Parental Alienation. Some great resources for solutions and dealing with parental alienation is the Keeping Families Connected website.
There are many social media sites dedicated to providing support through online communities. We do not endorse one single group, as you may find the tone of one more to your liking.
